#130 Hooded Warbler

#130 Hooded Warbler


 The Hooded Warbler breeds in eastern North America. It has an olive-green back and yellow underparts. The male has a distinct black hood.


They feed on insect in low vegetation or by flycatching. This bird was seen in schrubs along the Limberlost trail in Shenandoah Nat'l Park.
