#97 Rufous Hummingbird

#97 Rufous Hummingbird

The Rufous Hummingbird was another Oregon Lifer. These birds were seen at the Multnomah Falls visitor center in Oregon.

The Male Rufous Hummingbird has a dark red gorget and strong rufous-orange above on on its flanks.  They are very similar to the Allen's Hummingbird which is not really seen in the Columbia Gorge area.
